Meet Our Coaches

Founder, Director of Coaches
Destanie Johnson
Competitive soccer has been a part of my life for most of my life, both as a player and now as a coach. I began coaching at the high school level in 2018, and it didn’t take long for me to realize how passionate I was about player development and helping young athletes grow through the game.
As I became more involved in coaching, I saw an opportunity to bring competitive, quality soccer closer to home for players and families in our community. That vision led me to create Prineville Premier Soccer Club, a local program built to provide players with high-quality coaching, meaningful competition, and a pathway to continue developing without the need for families to constantly travel outside of our area.
My goal is to continue building a strong soccer culture in Prineville while helping players become not only better soccer players, but also confident, disciplined, hardworking, and team-oriented young people.
I’m incredibly proud of how far our club has come and excited about what we are building for the future of soccer in our community.

Started playing rec soccer at the age of 6. At the age of 8 started playing for Club Deportivo Juca in Guatemala. Moving to the United States, I played for David Douglas high school helping them go to playoffs in 2008. I also took health and soccer fundamental classes in Mount Hood community college. Bethany Amodeo
I strive to be the coach that young athletes look up to—knowing they will be supported, but also pushed to reach their full potential.
With over 25 years of experience in the sports world, Bethany Amodeo joins Prineville Premier with a passion for developing youth athletes. Her journey began with travel soccer in her youth and extended into a collegiate softball career. This background as a high-level athlete shapes her coaching style today: she knows the discipline required to succeed and how to instill that mindset in her players.
Bethany has coached everything from private lessons to youth soccer, basketball, and baseball, working with athletes starting at age three. She believes that youth sports are about more than just the game; they are about building character. Coach Amodeo is dedicated to inspiring drive and passion in her team, teaching them that hard work and dedication translate to success both on and off the soccer pitch
